IASHEP Certified Construction Course - 30 Hours (OSHA 30HRS)

Course Description

The OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training Program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

Important Note: This is a voluntary awareness program and does not meet the specific training requirements for any OSHA standards.

Training Details
Through this program, workers can attend 30-hour classes delivered by OSHA-authorized trainers. The 30-hour class is more appropriate for workers with some safety responsibility. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights.

Purpose and Limitations
The Outreach Training Program is voluntary. Its purpose is to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. Outreach training does not fulfill the training requirements found in OSHA standards. Employers are responsible for providing any additional, job-specific training required by OSHA standards for their workers.
