IASHEP Certified Construction Course - 30 Hours (OSHA 30HRS)
Course Description
The IASHEP Certified Construction Course – 30 Hours (OSHA 30HRS) is a comprehensive occupational safety and health training program developed for construction supervisors, foremen, safety professionals, project managers, contractors, and workers responsible for maintaining safe and OSHA-compliant construction sites. Based on OSHA's recommended 30-Hour Outreach Training curriculum, this course provides participants with advanced knowledge of construction safety standards, hazard recognition, accident prevention, and regulatory compliance.Construction remains one of the highest-risk industries due to hazards such as falls from heights, scaffolding failures, excavation collapses, electrical exposure, struck-by incidents, caught-in/between hazards, crane operations, heavy equipment, and hazardous materials. Organizations require trained professionals who can identify workplace hazards, implement effective control measures, and promote a strong culture of safety while meeting OSHA construction standards.
Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926), workers' rights, employer responsibilities, fall protection, scaffolding safety, excavation and trenching, cranes and rigging, electrical safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), ladder safety, confined spaces, hazard communication, fire prevention, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), material handling, heavy equipment safety, incident investigation, and construction site safety management. The curriculum emphasizes practical hazard recognition, risk assessment, and compliance strategies applicable to residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects.
Through real-world case studies, OSHA-based scenarios, and practical construction examples, participants will learn how to perform construction site inspections, identify unsafe conditions, investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and support comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. The course equips participants with the knowledge needed to reduce workplace injuries, improve regulatory compliance, and enhance overall construction safety performance.
Upon successful completion of the IASHEP Certified Construction Course – 30 Hours (OSHA 30HRS), participants will possess the knowledge and confidence to recognize construction hazards, implement OSHA-compliant safety practices, strengthen jobsite safety culture, and contribute to safer, healthier, and more productive construction environments.
