John F (Jack) Podojil
Chief Executive OfficerJohn F. (Jack) Podojil is the Chief Executive Officer and the original founding member. Jack is a seasoned expert with over fifty years of experience in the health and safety field. His career began in 1974 with the Arizona Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), where he earned the role of compliance officer number 60.
He is a published author and public speaker, holding numerous professional certifications including Certified Environmental, Health and Safety Professional (CEHSP®), Certified Safety, Health and Environmental Technician (CSHET®), Certified Safety Health Compliance Officer (CSHCO®), Certified Construction Safety Health Compliance Officer (CCSHCO®), Certified IASHEP Instructor (IASHEP-CI®), Certified Hazard Control Manager (CHCM®), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM–Master®), and Certified Machine Safeguarding Specialist (CMGS®).
His additional certifications include Accredited Safety Auditor (ASA Ret®), Certified Utility Safety Administrator (CUSA-Ret®), and Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA–Ret®).
Peggy Sue Podojil
PresidentPeggy Sue Podojil is an original founding member of IASHEP and President of IASHEP. She is a published author and public speaker, holding numerous professional certifications including Certified Environmental, Health and Safety Professional (CEHSP®), Certified Safety, Health and Environmental Technician (CSHET®), and Certified ETS Technician (CETS-T®).
Her additional professional certifications include Certified Safety Health Compliance Officer (CSHCO®), Certified Construction Safety Health Compliance Officer (CCSHCO®), and Certified IASHEP Instructor (IASHEP-CI®).
Peggy has over 34 years of financial and banking experience, becoming Vice President of Chase Bank. After retiring from Chase Bank, Peggy worked at Alliance Bank and Vantage West Credit Union, bringing her extensive financial expertise.
Karen Schomburg
Vice PresidentKaren Schomburg is a founding member of IASHEP and is a Certified Environmental, Health and Safety Professional (CEHSP®).
She is also a Certified Safety, Health and Environmental Technician (CSHET®) and Certified Safety Health Compliance Officer (CSHCO®).
Additionally, Karen has a Blackbelt in Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma.
Ronald Pentecost
Vice President OperationsRonald Pentecost is an officer of IASHEP and serves as Vice President of Operations and holds the position as Chairperson of Board of Directors. He holds professional certifications including Certified Environmental, Health and Safety Professional (CEHSP®) and Certified Safety, Health and Environmental Technician (CSHET®).
His additional certifications include Certified Safety Health Compliance Officer (CSHCO®), Certified Construction Safety Health Compliance Officer (CCSHCO®), and Certified IASHEP Instructor (IASHEP-CI®).
Ronald has served our Country for over 20 years and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy.
Ray Enama
Founding MemberRay Enama is a IASHEP first original founding member. He is a published author and public speaker, holding numerous professional certifications including Certified Environmental, Health and Safety Professional (CEHSP®), Certified Safety, Health and Environmental Technician (CSHET®), and Certified Safety Health Compliance Officer (CSHCO®).
His certifications further include Certified Construction Safety Health Compliance Officer (CCSHCO®), Certified IASHEP Instructor (IASHEP-CI®), and Certified Electrical Safety Specialist (CESS®) for high voltage, low voltage, and NFPA 70E compliance.
Ray served the utility industry for over fifty years and is considered a subject matter expert in education.
