International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Training Centers utilize the International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) specific curriculum and training materials applicable to local industry and workplace scenarios. The curriculum addresses general safety, health standards, and hazard recognition and avoidance.
IASHEP is an Accredited IACET Provider. The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is the developer of the original Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and today ensures that providers of continuing education and training can prove they provide high-quality instruction by following the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training through a rigorous accreditation process. The Standard is a universal model for learning process excellence. It defines a proven model for developing effective and valuable continuing education and training (CE/T) programs by measuring a provider's training program from procedure to process to result.
As an IACET Accredited Provider, IASHEP offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standards. Upon completing the course requirements and passing the examination, you'll receive a Certificate with the CEUs earned. Please note that partial credit or adjustment will not be awarded for individuals who do not successfully meet the criteria for achievement for CEUs based on IACET standards.

Should you wish to obtain a professional credential in this subject, then you must pay and take the IASHEP Certified Course and also take an online timed IASHEP proctored examination and pass with an 80%.
The following fees apply:
All course listed on this page or in our IASHEP course catalog are equivalent to courses that you would take at a college or major university. IASHEP certified courses also exceed the learning experience that you would receive from an OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC).
If you take an IASHEP online course, you will be assigned an IASHEP certified instructor to work with. If you attend an IASHEP Authorized Learning Center course the fees may be slightly higher since many of their courses come with formal text books or American National Standard Institute (ANSI) standards that are registered in your name.
Certified Professional Credential - Should you wish to obtain a professional credential in this subject, then you must be an active member of IASHEP which is an annual membership of $150.00 per year starting February 1 to February 1 of each year, you must register and pay for the IASHEP certified course of your choice and you must also take an online, open book, timed and IASHEP approved proctored examination and pass with an 80%.
Other associations normally charge a registration fee of $350.00 and a testing fee of an additional $195.00 to take their examination. IASHEP does not charge these additional fees to obtain your professional credential since they are included in your course fees.
Recertification:
A refresher examination is required every three (3) years to maintain certification for all IASHEP professional certifications, The cost for recertification is $195.00. Plus you must maintain your continuing education points.
All IASHEP Accredited Courses are at the United States Department of Labor OSHA Training Institute (OTI) level or higher.
Virtual Instructor-led Training (VILT)
Courses are available upon request at your work location or Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VLT) schedule to be announced shortly.
Virtual instructor-led training is transforming the way millions of people learn, both on and off the job. Increasingly, businesses are employing it as part of broader blended solutions for training and development. Other common business-related uses include customer and product training, professional development, sales training and onboarding. The growth of virtual instructor-led training in academia is equally robust. Many colleges and universities offer established online graduate and undergraduate degree programs based on VILT technology.

- Convenience. VILT students can choose when and where they would like to participate in training courses – whether they are at home, in the office, or on their mobile devices.

All classes are taught M-F 8am to 5pm. A 40% surcharge applies for any courses scheduled to be taught after hours or on weekends and holidays.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation notification must be in writing (fax or emails are acceptable) and received (not postmarked)
Four weeks prior to schedule training - 0 % of total invoice. The client wil be responsible for any charges made for travel and per diem incurred. If no charges occur, then there is no charge.
2-4 weeks before scheduled training, you will be charged - 25% of the course and the travel invoice amount
1-2 weeks before scheduled training, you will be charged- 60% of the course, and the travel invoice amount
If you wait less than one week to schedule training, you will be charged—100% of the course and travel invoice amount.
Once a class has started – No Refund
Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for any refunds. Due to unforeseen circumstances, IASHEP and its training partners reserve the right to cancel this activity. In the event of such cancellation, only the registration fee will be returned to the registrant. IASHEP and its training partners will not be responsible for travel expenses incurred by the participant in case of cancellation.Course

IASHEP teaches any courses that the OSHA OTIEC teach but our are certifications not course completion certificate. Our courses are taught at a higher level at a more cost effective price. If you do not see a course listed on this website, contact us since we believe we have more accredited courses than anyone.
Once again, should you wish to obtain a course certified professional credential for these courses, you must complete a course registration form which is found on the IASHEP located above, you must be a member of IASHEP for the year 2023 which is $150.00.
Many OSHA Training Institute Education Centers (OTIEC) charge up to $895.00 for their courses and you receive a course completion certificate. With IASHEP and receive a professional credential is accredited by the International Accreditors of Continuing Education Training (IACET). Many of our courses will also transfer to Waldorf University for college credit., and you receive a course completion certificate. With IASHEP, you can save thousands of dollars, and you receive a professional credential that is accredited by the International Accreditors of Continuing Education Training (IACET).

Course Challenging & Professional credentials
Challenging An IASHEP Certified Course
The International Association of Environmental, Health and Safety Professionals (IASHEP) believes that if you have taken a course somewhere else, but you did not get a professional certificate or professional credential, you can challenge the IASHEP professional credentialed course. You must request IASHEP to challenge the course by filling out this course challenge document and paying your fees. The fees for course challenging is $195.00. You can only challenge IASHEP specialist and technician level courses.
Testing:
You must take a proctored and timed open book examination and you must pass the written test with an 80% or better to receive your professional credential. You have three chances to pass the examination. Should you fail to pass the course challenge test, you must then take the classroom version of the course. Failure to pass the IASHEP professional proctored examination will result in your fees being non-refunded. There is an additional fee of $100.00 for each additional certification test retake.

Learn what it really takes to build an effective safety, health or environmental training program.
Becoming an International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized / Certified Trainer also allows you the opportunity to work and teach courses for our Authorized International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) training centers that are located in the United States and elsewhere.
International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Trainer Opportunities:
The International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Outreach Training Program permits occupational safety and health professionals to become authorized as trainers and conduct training for workers in locations worldwide. Through this program, the International Association of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Trainer conduct IASHEP Technician level one (1) to three (3) day level classes and Specialist level courses for workers based on construction safety, general industry safety healthcare and other industries such as but not limited to longshoring, maritime, food processing etc.
Note: Although considered a "Authorized / Certified Trainer" you will not be able to issue "Certified Courses" unless they are taught through an IASHEP Authorized Training Center) or through the International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) as one of our Authorized / Certified Trainers under a individual contract between yourself and IASHEP.
Your private consulting company or your company can become an Authorized IASHEP Learning Center by agreeing to signing an IASHEP Learning Center contract with IASHEP. This contract states that you will pay $2500.00 for the first year. After the first year, the IASHEP Authorized Learning Center can meet their obligation to continue to be IASHEP Authorized Learning Center by bringing in 25 new members into IASHEP per year or pay $2500.00. IASHEP has a special arrangements with IASHEP Authorized Learning Centers where they will earn a percentage of fees for teaching IASHEP certified courses.
If you are an Authorized IASHEP Trainer but not and IASHEP Authorized Learning Center and if you are are qualified to teach a specific course, you will be authorized to issue course completion certificates through IASHEP for a small cost per student.
Private Companies and Government Agencies can become an International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Training Center by applying to the International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP).
When you become an IASHEP Certified Instructor (IASHEP-CI), if you want to teach IASHEP 4-32 hour level courses, and have your workers or clients who want to receive an IASHEP course completion certificate from your own company, this is possible. The cost for the course completion certificate will be $35.00 per student.
To become an IASHEP Certified Trainer:
Complete a Trainer Course
In order to become a an individual must complete a trainer course based on the criteria listed below:
1. You must be a member of IASHEP and be a member in good standing.
2. The individual must submit an International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) application to the IASHEP Board of Directors for approval and provide appropriate documentation of experience including a detailed resume or job history, and professional references.
3. You must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience within a construction safety position or general safety position. One year of experience may be waived if the individual has earned a degree in a related field (associates level or above) from an accredited academic institution.
4. An individual must complete the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Train the Trainer Course as described in options (a) & (b) below.
Option (a) In order to become a International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Certified Trainer, an individual may complete a International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Certified Trainer (IASHEP-(CI) course offered through an International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Training Center.
Option (b) An individual may complete the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Certified Trainer (IASHEP-(CI) course offered online.
MAINTAIN TRAIN THE TRAINER AUTHORIZATION BY COMPLETING AN UPDATE COURSE OR MAINTAINING (CEU's)
The International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Certified Trainer (IASHEP-(CI) authorization is valid for three years. You must recertify your professional credential by following the information according to the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) recertification handbook that is found on the IASHEP website located at www.iashep.org. Note: There is no grace period for renewal beyond the three -year time frame.

Alliance Opportunities
International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) is offering new alliance agreements with colleges, universities, government agencies and private training organizations throughout the United States and around the world to offer our accredited professional and certified safety, health & environmental educational programs.
The International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner will be accredited to offer the classroom versions of all IASHEP Advanced, Specialist and Technician level safety, health & environmental educational courses for which they show that they have the expertise to teach the subject in. Should one of our International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partners do not have the required knowledge in the subject, a certified International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized / Certified Trainer will be assigned to work with you until you are qualified to teach our curriculum.
The International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner will also be able to utilize their own expertise and resources to develop specific curriculum and training materials applicable to local industry and workplace scenarios. The curriculum should address general safety, health, environmental and hazard recognition and avoidance.
Many courses in other countries are site specific related courses to that geographical area of the globe and may not usually be offered by the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP). If this is the case the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) will work with the Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner in their areas of expertise and the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner receive a certificate for their students once IASHEP reviews and approves the curriculum.
An International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner may represent themselves as being part of the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center which includes the use of the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner name and logo on their websites or other advertisements. The International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner will be included on the Official International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner Website.
Upon request from students in a specific geographical area, the International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) will recommend the nearest International Association of Safety Health & Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Authorized Learning Center / Alliance Partner for that student or client to contact to teach the specific subject to which they are qualified to teach. Your location or ours. Get started with compliance training in a comfortable environment, learning from expert instructors.
With onsite training, IASHEP brings our certified instructors and accredited courses to your facility. This allows you to save travel costs, as well as train an entire group at a time.
We can teach to your schedule, which is helpful for companies who have workers on multiple shifts. We can also break up our classes into sections to minimize the time your employees are away from their tasks.
For classes needing hands-on activities, we can use your equipment and help plan scenarios using your facilities. Also, onsite classes are often shorter in duration than our scheduled classes because we can cover just the portions of the class that your facility needs.

Engage with an expert IASHEP certified and accredited instructor for practical, on-the-spot training in the safety, health & environmental field or should you choose to go the self study route, you can study at your own pace.
Live learning -- Classes are conducted live, so students can get practical, on-the-spot answers from instructors and engage each other to reinforce learning.
Real-world knowledge - Whether delivered virtually or in person, our courses are designed by experts to help students learn best practices based on real-world scenarios from our certified instructors.
Convenience and Flexibility - Join a class without the need to travel. Schedule training on days your team would have been traveling.
All of our International Assoc. of Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) Certified Instructor led (ZOOM) courses require live attendance. We have divided the required contact hours into additional days in some cases to consider the unique circumstances our clients are handling.

This policy aims to maintain compliance with U.S. local, state, and federal regulations and uphold a standard of professional conduct within International Assoc. Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP). It ensures transparency in our educational activities, specifically concerning any proprietary interests held by instructors.
Policy Statement:
International Assoc. Safety Health Environmental Professionals (IASHEP) requires all instructors to disclose any proprietary interests in products, instruments, devices, or materials used or referenced in their instructional content. This is essential to maintain the integrity of our educational offerings and compliance with ANSI/IACET 1‐2018 Standard
Responsibilities:
- Instructors are responsible for disclosing their proprietary interests to the IASHEP Chief Exectuive Office r (CEO) who is tasked with reviewing all disclosures to ensure appropriateness and compliance.

- In Marketing Materials and Syllabi:
- Disclosures of proprietary interests must be stated on specifically designated overview materials such as syllabi and marketing materials.
- Examples of appropriate disclosure statements include, but are not limited to:
- “The Instructor holds rights (e.g., copyright) to this material.”
- “The Instructor has a financial interest in this material/(name of company).”
- “The instructor is a consultant for this (name of company).”
- At the Beginning of the Learning Event:
- Instructors must verbally disclose any proprietary interests at the start of each educational session.
Review and Oversight:
- This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect any changes in operational procedures or legal requirements.may permit an instructor with proprietary interests to facilitate a learning experience, provided the interest is appropriately disclosed.
- Instructors are prohibited from exclusively promoting goods or services related to their proprietary interests.
