Our programs are accredited by The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is the developer of the original Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and today ensures that providers of continuing education and training can prove they provide high-quality instruction by following the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training through a rigorous accreditation process. The Standard is a universal model for excellence in the learning process. It defines a proven model for developing effective and valuable continuing education and training (CE/T) programs by measuring a provider's training program from procedure to process to result.

Waldorf University / IASHEP alliance:  As a member of IASHEP, we are honored to say that we are a  Learning Partner with Waldorf University (Mr.  Jeff Butcher at 1.877.267.2157) should be contacted if you are a member of IASHEP to have "Jeff" provide you guidance on how to enroll in Waldorf University degree programs and receive the IASHEP 15% tuition discount for you and your family, waived application fees, and textbooks at no cost. Scholarship opportunities are also available for those who want to attend classes online or in person on our Forest City, Iowa campus.  For recent graduates (within two years) starting careers in safety, health, or environmental fields. Proof of graduation required.

For retired professionals who wish to stay engaged. Use credentials with “FELLOW” or “Retired (Rt.)” after your title. Additional fees apply for multiple credentials.

For students enrolled in 12+ units at accredited institutions, including universities, apprenticeship programs, or OSHA/state training programs. Eligible for IASHEP Student Awards. 

 Examples of eligible schools include:

• Waldorf University
• San Jose State University
• Eastern Kentucky University
• OSHA Training Institute Education Centers (OTIEC)
• Accredited programs in technical or skilled trades schools

For students in technical or skilled trade programs. Includes membership benefits and IASHEP Student Awards eligibility. 

For IASHEP International Members located in countries outside the United States

If you've completed a course elsewhere (e.g., OSHA, NSC, IOSH, OSHAcademy), but only received a certificate of completion, you can challenge the IASHEP professional credential for that course. 

1. Membership Requirement
   You must be an active member of IASHEP. Membership is $150 annually, with part of the fees supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Tunnels to Towers.
   
2. Submit a Course Challenge Request
   Complete the course challenge form available on the IASHEP website and pay the course challenge fee of $195.
   
3. Examination
   Take a proctored, timed open-book examination. To earn your professional credential, you must score at least 80%. You have up to three attempts to pass.
   • Additional retake fee: $100 per test.
     

1. Failure to Pass
   If you fail to pass the exam after three attempts, you will be required to take the classroom version of the course. Retake fees are non-refundable.
